Busch Gardens is one of the most legendary amusement parks in the world and a Florida tourist staple. As Floridians, we have the luxury of vacationing right in our own backyard. One minute, the Bear Family (the affectionate name I call my family) can be relaxing in the Panhandle in Destin, Florida, and the next, we can be exploring Key West. Florida is truly our built-in vacation destination.

During the December break, we wanted to take a mini family getaway. Truth be told, I wasn't in the mood to travel too far from our hometown of Orlando. We decided to head to Tampa to check out Busch Gardens.

The Bear family vacation at Key West was an unplanned vacation spot for me. I was not expecting to attend the mini getaway with my husband and kids, although, the Florida Keys was listed on my bucket list. The kids were excited about their vacation and it helped that my husband rented a Tesla model Y. Another road trip with baby C, but he’s a trooper and fits right in with the swing of things. With the Tesla sitting outside packed with our things, we were ready to go!
